Welcome to my new blog. I've decided to do an eBay only blog to discuss what I'll be doing with my store (Southern Read and Stitch) and thoughts and ideas about my selling activities on eBay.
I finally figured out how to put sub categories into my store category list. I've already done this with the books and cross stitch. Next it will be Stationery and Gifts. I like how showing only the main categories cleaned up the list on my store pages.
I'm also be moving all of the books out of the discount category. This was a very successful promotion that I ran last year but it's time to put all those books back into Book:Fiction category. If you really liked the $0.50 paperbacks and $1.00 hard cover books, you'll still be able to get them - you'll just have to make me an offer.
I allow for Best Offers to be offered on all of my store items. I really don't worry about pricing too much - I figure that my customers will tell me what the correct price is. I accept nearly all offers.
Well it's time to get back to work - I have some paperwork and record keeping to do and of course, I always have items to post.
